CORROSION MONITORING
Industry Leading Corrosion Reports
Pipeline pitting corrosion is most often the highest risk to a failure or leak. Therefore, our corrosion reports include the NACE/AMPP standard for pitting corrosion.
For monitoring under-deposit corrosion potential we also measure coupon deposition rates, which can help validate this type of corrosion.
We use microscopy on coupons with pitting to help identify the type of corrosion or corrosion mechanism.
Monitoring Equipment
Working with your integrity manager, we custom design a monitoring program. We provide and install the equipment needed to meet the goals of your program.
Water sampler / drops (W.D.)
Retractable coupon holder (RCH)
Custom metallurgy coupons to match your process equipment or pipeline
Ongoing Field Testing
Once the monitoring program is agreed upon, we provide the ongoing field testing and lab analysis.
Process or pipeline operating conditions, flow rates, temperatures, and pressures
We test for acid gasses and water chemistry that can impact or cause corrosion of your system
We conduct bacteria surveys using the proper salinity for both Planktonic and Sessile bacteria
Corrosion residual inhibitor residuals are used to help optimize your costs
